Tutorial:Install PC Studio 3 and Games/Apps Guide
This is a lil’ tutorial on how to Install PC Studio 3 and Games/Apps Guide,Samsung PC Studio can work for connect through Bluetooth,but doesn’t work for Windows Vista 64-bit and XP.AT&T Samsung Eternity info
Before install PC Studio 3,please make sure you was download Samsung Eternity ’s USB Modem Drivers and buy a USB Cable,in you haven’t,download Drivers here and usb cable here.
Preparation work has been done,please uninstallation of previous drivers/programs,now start the installation.
1. Uninstall previous Samsung USB/Modem Drivers as well as any PC Studio programs. (Yes, all of it. Just wait till the last one to reboot)
2. Go to the following website: [here] If you have Windows XP download the top one, if you have Windows Vista install the bottom one. Reason why you need the 3.2.1 GL6 version is so you can update to 3.2.2 HG5 as I downloaded another 3.2.2 xxx and it did not detect the Eternity (SGH-A867)
3. Once downloaded run the setup file. (Make sure the phone is unplugged)
4. Once installed it will ask you an update
5. The auto updater will download the necessary files, it should take a few depending on internet connection speed.
6. Once all the downloads are finish you can start the program.
7. You can set your phone to “Ask on Connection” (Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Select USB Mode -> Ask on Connection) With this setting, whenever you connect your phone you can have it connect for PC Studio, as a Media Player or Mass Storage (like a flash drive).
Let the drivers install.
8. Once finished you might have to restart PC Studio 3 to detect the phone. Once detected it should say SGH-A867
9. Go to Phone Editor and click on SIM, it should load all your contacts. Select All (By Right-Clicking) and drag it to the PC. This is how you can back up your SIM card to your PC.
If PC Studio 3 does not work for you,please click here to download New PC Studio,its the same process as PC Studio 3, it just doesn’t work with 64-bit so I couldn’t make a guide with it on my computer and was having problems with it on XP, but it may be different for everyone else so try that if all else fails.
