A new problem about the TKFE sofeware can’t work for AT&T Samsung Solstice, when you bought a data cable and install new PC Studio, plug the phone in to the computer it pops up, but seems TKFE can’t sees the phone, you can’t find the “com” in the drop-down window. How to fix the TKFE Can’t Work Problem?

1.please make sure your phone is set on USB mode.

Dial *#197328640# like you were making a call
select 9 fro common
select 6 for usb configuration

Check the following to fix the problem:

“Mediaplayer I believe will look for qualcom drivers. That is why I told you to put the phone in pc-studio mode before making sure it was on samsung USB. That screen changes according to what USB connectivity you have selected.

We are glad to hear the AT&T Samsung Solstice master key has now been found, that you can delete locked applications safely! This method can also work in AT&T Samsung Impression and Eternity phones,Follow these steps, but only if you want to permanently delete the included locked applications. I would suggest backing them up using TKFE, a process I will detail in another thread.AT&T Samsung Solstice info

Use Tkfile explorer to go to the locked folder that you wish to delete. Right click on the folder of the locked app and select delete.

Disconnect from TKFE.

-Open up your dial pad and enter the following, *#6984125*#.
-Choose INTERNALS and enter the following, *#3818790*#.
-Now scroll down and choose Storage Settings. Then update Java DB, followed by update apps database.

Comparison of the AT&T Samsung Solstice A887 and AT&T LG Xenon,i think the LG Xenon is better,first look the appearance,these two AT&T phones are all sports a touch-screen and side buttons design,although from different brands.The Solstice offers a trim design with rounded corners,looks pretty,LG Xenon has a 2.8-inch touch-screen display,It’s smaller than the 3-inch displays on the AT&T Samsung Solstice A887 and the LG Vu,but the Xenon is fairly lightweight at 3.81 ounces, and it’s slim enough to fit in a front pocket.

The good on AT&T Samsung Solstice:Has an easy-to-use touch interface and a useful set of multimedia features. Photo quality is quite good.

The bad on AT&T Samsung Solstice: Lacks instant messaging and the memory card slot is behind the battery. Call quality, browser speed, and video performance are unimpressive.
