# Keypad Lock
- To lock the keypad from the standby screen, press the Keypad Lock key, then press Yes to confirm.
- To unlock the keypad, press Unlock and then press OK.
# Lock the Device
1)From the standby screen, press Menu.
2)Scroll to and select Settings.
3)Scroll to and select Phone.
4)Scroll to and select Security.
5)Select Lock Phone.
6)Select On.
7)Enter the phone’s password, then press OK.
NOTE: The password is user-defined; there is no default. If a password has yet to be established, the phone will prompt for a new password to be entered and then confirmed.
8)A confirmation message will be displayed.
NOTE: The device will ask for the password the next time the phone is powered on.
Unlock the Device
1)The device will request the Phone Lock code.
NOTE: The Phone Lock code is the user-defined password from the above solution; there is no default.
2)Enter the current Phone Lock code, then press OK.
