AT&T Samsung Eternity Hacks and Tricks:Fix Ringtone Bug
Lots of AT&T Samsung Eternity A867 users maybe have been found the ringtone bug on their AT&T Samsung Eternity,some owner had fixed the ringtone bug and sharing the method for us,now let’s check what bug of the AT&T Samsung Eternity A867.The user of the samsung-eternity.com named breathtakingevil saidïĵâMy ringtone sometime after I was messing around on it would play louder at the beginning and then down, and sounded rather horrible. Well, I figured out that I changed the decibel settings for a lower level of the volume controls. actually i did figure that out and found a run around hack to the ringtone issue but has some draw backs
first use *#0002*28346# and hit back 3 times
youll then see [3] spk config press 3
then on the list you will see [4] av-qtune(mp3) so press 4
then on the list you will see [1] spk mp3 vol[] so press 1
then press 0 and ther top will say spk mp3 volume, write when that comes up tap the entry bar and this is the settings i used for all of them.
and this is what you type in -40 and that will turn into -4.0 when you it goes back to the screen.
now to bypass the “increasing ringer”
once all the setting are inplace you can go to you sound setup and select increasing ring as your melody type but because all the parameter are the same it wont actuall increase.
now the downfall to this, you can change the volume of your mp3s or the ringer either so if you use your phone as a mp3 player with headphones i would suggest not doing this.
