NOTE:Before you can use EFS, to download EFS File Explorer, go here.you need the drivers for your phone. If you need them, please visit here.
**MUST HAVE DATA CABLE IN ORDER TO SEE THE SCREENS BELOW
- DATA CABLE WILL CHARGE YOUR PHONE AND LET YOU SEE THE SCREENS BELOW
- USB CHARGING CABLE WILL ONLY DISPLAY THE CHARGING SCREEN.
1) Download EFS to your desktop from the thread found here, and extract to a folder as shown:
2) Open up the folder you got from extracting and run the EFS tool:
3) Click on EFS Files Explorer to get to the port window:
4) Make sure auto-search is checked, then plug your phone in if you haven’t already:
5) Check the box where your phone is displayed and then press connect:
6) If you are too slow you will see this screen and you just have to be quicker at checking the box and pressing
connect:
7) This is the filesystem home screen once you connect your Vu to the PC via EFS and the data cable. Let’s go
ahead and open up the LGAPP folder by double-clicking on it:
Read what is in the image and then open up the Media folder:
9) Now let’s browse the Flash folder, so get into that folder:
10) One last time, get into the theme folder:
11) Inside the theme folder, let’s create a themes folder for fun. You can make any folder using these steps:
12) The pop-up will ask for the name of the directory to be created. I will name it Themes folder for fun:
13) If you done it properly you have this as the end result:
14) To basically delete the folder/file you do the following:
