AT&T LG Vu Hacks:8 Steps to Deleting Demo Games and/or Stock Applications
Here is a Hacks tutorial for AT&T LG Vu users want to delete demo games and stock apps, we found the method on lg-vu forum, if you also don’t need or don’t like the demo games on your AT&T LG Vu, you can deleting them with the following steps, it’s safely. first please sure you had downlaod and install the EFS File Explorer for LG Vu.
LG Vu FAQ - How to Deleting Demo Games and/or Stock Applications?
1. Connect Vu with EFS File Explorer
2. Navigate to /LGAPP/Media/Java/ams
3. All the “M” numbered folders each correspond to a separate game or app installed
4. Open a Folder and download the 01.png and open it (This icon corresponds to the app or game that is installed there, alternatively, you can see the bottom of this post to identify all apps/games)
5. Once you find the icon that matches the app or game you want to delete, delete the entire “M…” folder
5a. (OPTIONAL STEP) You can also delete the corresponding “M..” folders in the rms folder and backup folder as well (Thanks EMT Shadow!)
(Repeat steps 7 & 8 as many times as needed)
6. Now click on the folder /ams/ There should be a file named “_folder_db_” Delete it
7. Restart Phone
8. REJOICE, Now there are no more demos!! you may had deleted the games and apps done.
