AT&T Htc Tilt 2 Internet speed Problem
AT&T fourm posted a AT&T Htc Tilt 2 topic,many users are involved in the discussion,how to fix this this AT&T Htc Tilt 2 internet speed problem?it seems a very troublesome problem,maybe you can found the internet speed on the tilt 1 would and still do clock consistantly 600kbps to 900kbps but my Tilt 2 is clocking around 100kbps.Some people have tried editing the registry I found in one thread,but both settings do nothing, although the EnableHSDPAIcon did make the H appear at the top of the phone for about 3 hours then it went back to 3G.

Tilt2 has a different radio than Tilt1. I had similar issue when compare my Pure with my Samsung BJ2. Your registry tweak won’t do a thing for the speed. I suspect the 7.2mbps radio in Tilt2/Pure is having problems with AT&T’s network. But from time to time, I can still manage to get 1 to 1.2 mbps speed without the registry hack. But most times, it will be either 100kbps or 600 kbps, very unstable. And my Pure also get less bars than my BJ2. Something to do with the radio chip HTC uses.
So, to re-cap, the registry hack is unecessary unless you just want to see H icon instead of 3G icon. Even with the hack I tried, if you reboot the phone a few times, the H icon will no longer show up.
So, save your time and let AT&T sort out this thing.
This maybe not the really accepted solution,hope AT&T will fix this problem as soon as possible.
