AT&T Cell Phones Faq - How to fix a Bricked AT&T Samsung Eternity?

Things you will need:
1. Your “thought to be” useless phone!
2. Multiloader v5.5 which can be downloaded by the attachment below…..(Thank you Berdman21 !!)

Steps:
1. Put your bricked phone in bootloader mode by holding down the red power button and the down volume button at the same time until the screen pops up.
2. Open up Multiloader v5.5 and under the “control” box, select “MSM6275/MSM6280/MSM6290″
3. Plug your USB Data cable into your phone and into your computer (at this point port numbers should show up at the very bottom and the Download button should be highlighted)
4. Leave the boxes labeled, ” Boot Change, Full Download, Master Rom and Differences Only,” unchecked.

Although the AT&T Samsung Impression internal GPS, but some users doesn’t using it, they always download downloaded google maps from google mobile ,it seems so far it does a better job. However it will have a trouble on AT&T Samsung Impression, were disappointed as to not receive the touch version I have the solution for you. How would you like your google maps to work with the gps? 1) Delete any previous versions of google maps

2) Download the jar and the jad below to your computer

3) Upload the jar to Imserba http://www.imserba.com/wapupload/ and follow directions to install on phone
may work with rumkin but not tested

4) Do not run google maps yet

5) Connect you phone to your computer using TKFE

6) Navigate to the google maps folder and delete the jad and the appdb folder

It seem many AT&T LG Vu had meed something similar problem, the AT&T LG Vu always shutting down on its own. I found a lot of Vu fans are discussing this issue, but seem doesn’t find a suitable solution. “Recently my Vu has been shutting down on its own. And I cannot turn the phone back on unless i remove the battery and place it back in. It isnt because of low batteries or anything though. However, the only remedy i have noticed that works is to leave the phone charged the whole time, but that doesnt work when im out and about. =/ anyone else have similar problems? ”
